Request for addition
John
Dear team.. A suggestion for an addition if Bob likes it.....
When importing a log, Logger 16 gave you the option to 'add a comment' - I have noticed that logger32 does not have this (if it does, it never asks me when I import).... Would it be possible to have this feature reinstated and additionally, where an imported ADIF log does not have a 'contest_id' could logger32 ask you for this info. (I have recently imported several contest logs from Writelog and would have liked to either put comments in the 'comments' column or put in the contest_id info... or both) John |

About once a week this stupid Yahoo system stops sending me my reflector feeds due to its alleged "Your e-mail address bounced the messages" bull$h!t and I have to go in and 'reset' to get it working again. Compared to other reflector systems, Yahoo's implementation is very poor... maybe this too is why you have not been receiving any messages. cheers John |

Re: Run time error 13
Geoff Anderson
I have recently been looking into an ADI loading problem and suddenly came
toggle quoted message

across something I had not experienced before. Having solved the loading problem and feeling rather pleased, I closed Logger32 and on re-opening I hit this #13 error. Now the solution to that problem was:- 1) Close Logger32 2) Delete all 4 log files ( you do have backup don't you!) 3) Open logger32 and reload the adi log file. 4) Now the problem in the case quoted above was the imported ADI file did not contain any FREQUENCY information and I found that if I added a dummy frequency to the LAST entry in the log. I could then reopen Logger32 without problems. SO please check that the final entry in the log has a frequency value and NOT just a blank entry. This particular problem is currently being looked into. For the time being however, the above suggestion should keep you going. 73 de Geoff G3NPA Geoff.Anderson@... ----- Original Message -----

I am not sure if there are any plans to add that feature, but it sure would be nice. Right now, when I want to do that, I create a new QSO with the same station then change the date/time/frequency to match the old QSO, then delete the old QSO. I found it faster and less error prone than copying the name and address fields into the old QSO. Didier/KO4BB At 12:18 PM 06/14/2003 +0200, you wrote:

few question
Valery Andreev
Saturday, June 14, 2003 2:53 UTC
Hello ALL, For first, excuse me for bad english... But any way: I install L32b and enjoy it, but several items do not understand for me. 1. Try change date field in logbook page. After change and "enter" I have error message: Type mismatch: 13-06-2003 does not appear to be a valid date. Selected format is MM-DD-YYYY this message i have in any format of date. I not understand where is error? 2. Try to change data in time field and was informed: Duplicated time and time was changed to 00:00:01 (from 13:25:44). After exit from logbook, record with changed time was lost! I was surprised! 3. When i try check QSL as received, i have two way for it: click on field, remove N, type Y, move from field. Total 4 operations or Right click on record, choose Edit QSL info, click on popup menu, choose Y, click Okay. Total 5 operations. Where You check 10 QSL it is fine. But where i try check 200-300 QSL, my mouse think my hand is trembled after big drinking. Where QSL have only 2 position - N and Y, i think better if this field will changed by ONE click on them! May be i not right? 4. Some prefixes change owner with time going. Fop example DM was GDR and now Germany, EX9 was Russia, now Kyrgyzstan, UJ was Tajikistan, now Uzbekistan? etc., etc. World changed with every minute. What will changed tomorrow not know anybody. Change few thousand records manually - it is stupid work. May be Logger must check date of QSO and put before deadline to one country, after - to another? I hope it is not hard work for computer? How all think about it?
