Sorting by band or mode from Logger v.7.02

John Gray

When I first started Logger it was back in V1.07. I enjoyed the ability to sort the QSOs. Unfortunately
I lost my hard drive and when I replaced Logger it was with v7.02. Can anyone help me? What Freeware program can be used for this task. Thanks a lot. 73 & DX John W6UZ (jdgray@...)

Sorrowfully, Geoff doesn't know the answer to this one! I don't even have a
USB to serial port adaptor to look into the problem.

Hello

I have installed Logger32 on my laptop and like to use the
soundcard and one of the USB-ports with a usb to serial converter
cable.
The strange thing is that in the RTTY mode my FT100 goes to
transmit mode immediately but then only the first 4 characters are
being send by the pc and then the diddle is tranmitted.
So I abort the transmission by pressing the escape key.
But then it takes about 15 seconds for the FT-100 to come back in
receive mode.

The strange thing is that in BPSK all seems to be normal.

I would like to use the laptop on my trip to 9A-land in July this year
and make some rtty-contacts from there using Logger as the
logbook programme.

So please anyone who can be of assitance (Geoff???)

Right-click into the logbook window, select SETUP then GRID LAYOUT
After the new window opens, click and drag little green arrow wherever you like. Just be carefull not to drag it over other boxes as it will drop there. You can also activate or deactivate columns you want to use.

Re: old CT logs

Several years ago I converted all my CT logs using c2a and imported them into
Logger 16, and now, Logger 32.

C2a is found on the ct website, as previously noted.

John

you might have c2a.exe in your CT directory

use: c2a wpx03cw.bin wpx03cw.adi

If not, let me know I'll email you the file

Are macro like $lastqsodate$ $lastqsotime$ etc. active? In "old" Logger
they were working nicely. In Logger32 all macro corresponding with logbook
doesn`t work (the newest pskcore.dll installed).
Any coments?

Re: Help Import

Mike VK4DX

Try this,

Before converting, change your system settings to dd-mm-yy, then convert, import and then you can go back to yy-mm-dd back.

I remember, I had similar problem a while ago when I changed from LogpLus to Logger16 and I asked Boris (T93Y) to fine tune programm a bit and he did but this was still an issue, so I had to go with the system date workaround.

Re: Help Import

Put your ADI file into Wordpad and do a search and replace all. Search for
"QSO_DATE:8>" and replace with "QSO_DATE:8:D>" (without the quotes). It
should take all of about 30 seconds!

Suggest you make a backup of your original - just in case!!!!

Please visit www.qsl.net/ea7gv and then go to "Descarga de Ficheros"
