Re: Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
Thanks aki I've tried as IC-7800 but no luck! I must be missing a setting somewhere, either in Logger32 or in the 7610. Hope both you and your good lady are well. 73, John - G7SSE

I am using ic7610 and set ic7800 as radio. Shift+Clicking on DX spot moves VFO-B to his frequency. 73 de aki JA1NLX

Re: Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
Well Bob, Mark
?
Not sure what I have got set wrong but I can't get this to work with my IC-7610.
?
I use IC-7300 in the radio setup but have tried with both? IC-7800 and 7600 with no joy.
?
I've also tried reducing the polling too.
?
Shift + DX spot click always goes to the Main VFO.

Re: Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
I dont know what the difference in command sets is, but its likely to be in the detail.
?
As suggested, if I select the IC-7600 then all seems to work as expected - I hadn't realised I had the generic Icom selected.?
?
All working a treat - thanks as ever for the fast input :-)

Re: Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
I meant IC-7300, is there an IC-7000?. Maybe IC-7xxx covers all the bases.
?
If there is something special about the IC-7610 CAT control that warrants it's own code, I'd be happy to add it. Other than that, use a compatible IC-7xxx setup (whatever that maybe). 73.

Re: Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
Bob did you mean the IC-7000 rather than 73000? Any chance of updating the code to include the newer Icoms; IC-7300, IC-7610 etc..? 73 John - G7SSE

Re: Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
Clicking on a DX Spot with the Shify key held down sends the freq/mode to VFO-B? (or radio 2 if so configured.
?
And, just for fun I configured for an IC-7800. Shift + mouse click sent this to the radio.

That really was supposed to be shift click. On Sun, 20 Apr 2025, 15:53 Mark via , <mark.g0mgx=[email protected]> wrote:

Shift or CTL Click on DX Spot
Greetings all
?
Previously (I am sure I didnt dream this), if you did a shity click on a DX spot in the DX Spot or BandMap window, it would set the 2nd VFO of the rig.?
?
Is that functionality no longer there or is there something up with my config for my IC-7610?
?
This is a normal spot click:

but with shift I dont see anything other than the normal poll messages.

Re: Display: Dark Mode for Logger32?
开云体育Hello Mike;? And everybody from France. Personally, all these modes, "dark", "sombre" or all these fashionable values, I don't see what this software can really bring to the table. If we consider the fact that we watch more radio or the cascade screen of full SDR, or "flex radio" type versions. However, I'd happily admit that I'm not the ideal mind of today's radio amateur, who installs colored LED strips under their desk to brighten up the atmosphere... Oh, that's my opinion, even though no one asked me.... HI.. 73 chris f5ind. Le 20 avr. 2025 à 11:28, Mike VK4DX via groups.io <sivcevic@...> a écrit?:

Re: Display: Dark Mode for Logger32?
Maybe it's time to bring this topic back to life after almost five years.
?
Logger32 doesn't seem to follow windows colour rules and has its own UI colour scheme. While the grids can be nicely customised, as pictured below, the base interface cannot, which makes the the whole UX quite a bit inconsistent and not visually pleasing, particularly the QSO entry window.
?
Is there any plan to rewrite this part of the code, or is any work currently underway to address the issue? I understand Logger32 is a fairly old piece of software, and it may require a full rewrite to implement such changes, so please pardon my ignorance if that’s indeed the case.

Re: recalculate Prefixes
I assume that you imported your logbook into Logger32 the records did not include a PFX field.(PFX being ADIF speak for WPX).?There's an option when importing an ADIF file to use the PFX field in the ADIF record or to use the default Logger32 WPX calculation.
?
I don't recall any batch feature/function that will fill in the blanks for you. SeventyThree(s).

Re: recalculate Prefixes
The solution is in the FAQ at the bottom of page 230 of the Logger32 User Manual, Michal. Export your complete log as an ADIF, then import it into a fresh log, ticking the import option <Ignore PFX field> which tells Logger32 to ignore the [mostly empty] PFX field in your ADIF, calculating and filling it one QSO at a time.?? 73 Gary? ?beater/tester &? Honor Roll &? checkerPS? There are many such solutions in the manual.? It's worth searching there for whatever needs solving.? In respect of Logger32, that is.? The manual cannot solve climate change, ballistic wars or trade wars, unfortunately.? On Sun, 20 Apr 2025 at 06:53, Michal Horecky via <michal.om2dx=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: recalculate Prefixes
I know this is not answering your specific question, but I don't see the need to do it exactly the way you suggest. There might be a way to do it in L32, but I am not aware of why L32 doesn't show all prefixes in your example.
?
You could use this display to show all of the prefixes that you have worked.
?
?
And here is an example partial output showing the prefixes that you have worked by band.
