Yes Probably 90% of 'em will tell us that heavy straps have zero L. My dipmeter says the 3-500 grid resonance frequency is c. 1MHz higher grounding with caps instead of straps.

a friend and I had the same problem once with a qro rig and went with two tall insulated standoffs with a singls strand of RG8 shield. Smaller wire would fuse at lower currents. gfz pentalab
