LABELDEF on VM/370 R6?

It seems we do not have LABELDEF on VM/370 Rel 6, or the CE versions. So I'm going to guess it is not on earlier versions like 4-pack or 6-pack.
?
Anyone have a clue if it was a PTF/enhancement or whatever?
?
Thanks!

Mark,
?
LABELDEF was introduced with the IBM program products VM/Basic System Extensions and VM/System Extensions -- BSEPP and SEPP respectively.? ?BSEPP first became available for VM/370 Rel. 5, and then an updated version was made available for VM/370 Rel. 6, when that became available.
?
The main benefit of BSEPP was the introduction of CMS Extended Disk Format (EDF) disks, with 512,1024, 2048 or 4096 block sizes available at the time you FORMAT a minidisk.? SEPP also had some CP performance improvements, such as the addition of "Q3" from the Wheeler Scheduler PRPQ of earlier days (circa VM/370 Rel. 3.)
?
Hope that helps,
?

So is the code which supports Q3 in Rel 3?

Mark,
?
That's not what I said or meant to say.? If your shop paid IBM for the "Wheeler Scheduler" PRPQ, that first appeared with VM/370 Rel. 3, then you got a personal visit from Lynn Wheeler himself, to assist with installing it, since almost every VM/370 shop back then had made their own "local mods" to CP for various purposes.? ?So, Lynn had to do some "IEHEYEBALL" compare-and-merge to ensure a proper fit of the new code into CP to add Q3.

Thanks for clarifying. I won't go snooping through the Release 3 code for Q3 stuff.
?
Would have been neat to meet him face to face, though.
