Live Broadcast On Campus
Hello Everyone, Just wanted to give you a heads up that from Tuesday 4/18 thru Thursday 4/20 Falcon Radio will be broadcast live across campus. If you're scheduled to have a show during the following times you can still do your show, we just ask that you keep the music and other content PG-13. This is a great opportunity to inform the campus population about Falcon Radio and gain listeners. Here is the specifics about the timing of the events: Falcon Finale w/ UAO | April 18 | 6-9 p.m. Kickback on the Quad | April 18 ¨C April 20 | 2-7 p.m. Additionally, we would like to have a physical presence at the events. If you're not on-air during these times please contribute by wearing your Falcon Radio t-shirt and attend the events so you can help promote what we do on Falcon Radio! Please respond to this thread if you would like any additional information or want to volunteer! Phil

Scheduling
Hello Everyone, I've noticed that the monthly calendar is getting more full which is a wonderful thing! However, I just wanted to remind you that when selecting yourself a time slot on the schedule, please don't remove others from their spots. Specifically, I noticed that the "True Crime" show has been scheduled in place of my 9am class on an upcoming thursday. I NEED that room for my class that's why it was on the schedule. Anyways, just something to be aware of. If you need to make changes to the schedule here's the link: https://calendar.online/2d8340dbdb1d4b3a0c92

New DJs
Hello Everyone, Here is a link for the most recently updated Falcon Radio schedule: https://calendar.online/1209ae256e60f312a515 If you're a new DJ and have a show after business hours or on the weekend, you likely need to receive PED access to the Kuhlin center and radio studio doors. That take a bit of time as official paperwork needs to be processed. Once completed you will be given access on your BG1 card to enter those spaces. In order to get the paperwork going I need your full name and ID number. Please send that to me ASAP if you don't already have access. You can send it directly to me: pbeskid@... Thanks! Phil

New Schedule!
Hi all! Attached is the new schedule! Exciting! Please reach out to me directly if you'd like to make any changes. My email is rogermm@... Also, as a bit of housekeeping, please remember to set the system to AUTO when you leave the studio. No one wants to listen to dead air! Additionally, if there is something taped onto the door (like a schedule or notice), please don't take it down! I promise it's there for a reason. Thanks all! Stay rockin'! Maisy

Falcon Radio
Hey Everyone, I usually don't post much here, I like to stay out of the way and let this be as much your radio station. That being said, there are a few things that need to be addressed: Falcon Media has sold underwriting sponsorship for specific programming during the month of October. It doesn't change anything about your individual timeslots, but when you hear automation it will make mention of the special "Rocktober" event. For the whole month the automated programming will play decade specific rock music each hour. No food or drink in the studio with the exception of bottled water with lids. Not only is this just asking for equipment problems, I do not want to continue throwing away peoples trash. If you break something, tell someone! I have found broken equipment just lying around. We need to keep our nice things nice, but if an accident happens and something gets broken, say something about it so that I can fix the issue or make a change so that we can avoid the same issue in the future. Make sure that automation is set to "AUTO" and that something is in fact playing over the air BEFORE you leave. STOP loading the same song 10 ten times consecutively, remember, we WANT people to listen. Happy Weekend!

Ending The Semester Updates
Hey Y'all, I just wanted to send out an email talking about summer break and some other relevant information. But first I would like to say how proud I am to have worked for this organization for two and a half years. I am also super proud of all of you, for helping build and grow Falcon Radio into the organization it is today. When we started, we had zero members and we have grown so well. I would also like to thank all of our interns for the helping build the station, we could not have done it without you guys and you all rocked. I am sure that Maisy and Athena will do great things for this radio station and that it was left in good hands. Now for some updates. If you are done being a DJ and do not plan on coming back next Fall please return your keys to Campus Operations. If you are around and would like to continue to do your show over the summer feel free too. you can just keep the slot you currently have. Maisy will send out a schedule request form the closer we get to Fall semester so keep an eye on your email. if you do plan on coming back to DJ in the Fall you DO NOT have to return your keys. You guys rock, and it was an honor to be your General Manager, Damon

Some Updates
Hey Everyone!, I have updated the schedule again, all of the showtimes are accurate to what we have discussed. I just want to say how awesome it is to see a schedule this booked. When I started doing college radio back in 2019 our schedules never looked this packed. I love hearing all of your shows and getting to know y'alls genres of choice, and talk show varieties. I've attached the most recent schedule in this email so feel free to check it out and see all of the new amazing DJ's. I encourage you to listen to each others shows when you have the chance just to see how everyone is running their own shows and maybe get some inspiration! We are planning our annual Emo night at Howards. We have reached out to Howards to finalize a weekend date in April. Once I know more you guys will be the first ones to know!

Radio Show Promotions/Cupid Grams/Meeting Minutes
Hey Y'all, Just a reminder we do have promotional meetings every Wednesday at 9pm for those interested in all activities related to Falcon Radio that you can help be apart of. Maisy and Alicia are looking for DJ's to interveiw as well as social media takeovers during your shows. This will help promote your show and get more listeners. We want to make DJ profiles of sorts to promote the style of music you play, Maisy is also interested in making show graphics as well you can reach out to them via email at akobasi@... for Alicia, and rogermm@... for Maisy. We are doing our annual Cupid Gram sale this week until Friday, we haven't got many people interested and with COVID still being active I factored that in when decided whether or not we were doing it this year. We are tabling tomorrow from 11 - 2 so stop by and say hi if you see us in the union, we will being having a day to build them this Friday in the Radio station lobby starting at noon until we are done. We also set a date for pickup times and we are thinking Monday in the Kuhlin Center Convergence Lab from 12 to 4 when people can pick up the valentines day gift bag. The most current schedule is attached to this email as always and something to keep on your calendar is we are thinking about hosting our annual emo nite at Howards April 2nd. We still need to confirm that date but we are looking ahead a bit to try and secure it. The schedule is filling up this semester I am so glad to see how far we have come. Keep up the Great work!
