What is the best world time / meeting planner tool?

Hi all, sorry this is probably a dumb question; I've been working locally for years and am back to international meets, and have lost touch with international meeting timing.

Like most others I'm at home, trying to adapt to home life, local community support, being drawn into international stuff, juggling childcare and work, etc. etc....? and trying to plan is really stressing me out - and a usable, share-able timezone tool would make the organising bit of life much happier :)

What is your preferred tool for world timezones/meeting planning??

love from Bristol
Ed

Hi Ed,

If you’re just looking for for a timezone tool, I use/like?

If you’re looking for a tool that helps find a time when everyone can meet (or at least most people), I use?, I find it especially good with groups.?

Then for finding a time for people to meet with me, I have just started using Calendly??and it seems to work okay. Although the free version only lets you have one meeting type/length of meeting, so I am contemplating whether it’s worth the cost to upgrade.

Hope that helps,
Stephanie?

Though my org has been using? for announcing event times to our multi-timezone members, I like? for being able to see at a glance what a given time means to everyone. Here's what my customized view of WorldTimeBuddy looks like for example:

WorldTimeBuddy also has a nice widget to embed a fixed+local event time display and countdown on your website.

As an alternative to Doodle I also like http://whenisgood.net/
It is easier to set up and reply to when you have a large number of options, or when dealing with whole days.

When I am dealing with meetings between only two timezones, I find that is the most effective way to let others find a time when I am available. I find that I can set up a secondary timezone in my google calendar, so that I know what time they are at when I suggest meetings.?

If I have a list of people all with google calendar, then I can check if they are available in the invite.?

Thank you all :)?

I love meeting planners almost as much as I love bookmarking things :)?

My favourite from a brief look at these is??(with children screaming downstairs and it's my childcare shift in 1 minute). I like the UI, adding different timezones, and then being able to send it out as a link with all the zones on it.?

best wishes
Ed

Hi Ed,?
I recently find this one and find it quite handy:?

Hi Paul,?

oh yeah that’s the cutest so far! Great find!?

Easy UI, starting from all zones is handy to get the big picture (compared to??starting with timezone selection),?easy link to the time chosen. Lovely. I bet if you register they let you select timezones of particular interest.?

Here is when I shall be bicycling with my 6 year old daughter in the child seat to drop off a birthday card for her schoolfriend:?

:)

Hi Ed,

I like the gmail option on world time buddy!?

And glad you like everytimezone, but let me share a warning, always do the date selection first.?

I was looking at meeting times today and schedule a meeting one hour earlier as I forgot that on 7 of April there will be a Summer time change in Europe...?

I am glad to see that WT Buddy has also a calendar option that we should ALWAYS pick the exact date and not be lazy. like me...?

Best wishes and stay safe?
