ISO: beginner facilitation training/online
Hi everyone, I'm supporting a client with a staff member looking for a facilitation training.? This is an up and coming staff person who facilitates some meetings (teams, committees) but does not aspire to become a professional facilitator.? They will be facilitating some online meetings - though I'm looking for a training to recommend that is not only about facilitating online (need some of the basics about planning, purpose/agenda development).? My organization has done a couple of basic programs (one that is 90 minutes and one that includes 2 90 minute sessions), but we don't have any public offerings on the horizon.? Non-profit staff member - looking for something affordable. Any recommendations?? Thanks! Sarah Clark |

I recommend Training For Change, they teach/model online facilitation, and bring a justice and equity lens to their work, which is incredibly valuable.?

Lots of great options here! If you're looking for something focused more broadly on day-to-day business meetings and that your staffers can take on-demand, you might find one of the Meeting School courses useful. We have a few more coming online in the next several months and invite those of you who offer training on a topic or specialty we don't yet have covered to consider contributing an on-demand course to the catalog. Happy to answer any questions.
