EXPERIMENT: Too many of us know that current online meeting practices can be painful. Take your terrible offline meeting and make it doubly terrible online. Let's do a TRIZ together in Zoom (http://www.liberatingstructures.com/6-making-space-with-triz/) and come up with a few things to STOP doing that might make a difference as Covid19 forces people online. 60 minutes.

Completely <insert sad face> joining via phone with loads of data but cell provider who requires electricity (and it¡¯s load shedding) cannot stay in room, keep dropping out. Dana I loved your pronunciation of Triz. Nancy please share recording.?

my inputs as a participant:
Stop arriving late
Stop relying on only 1 access point to join a meeting online.
Stop waiting for an entry point to talk.

My inputs as a facilitator:

Stop having a meeting if there is no clear purpose.
Stop expecting remote tech driving to run smoothly
Stop thinking everyone is able to connect equally
Stop using the same systems if the need for functionality outgrows current function?
Stop making things complicated?
Stop distractions

Hope it¡¯s continuing to go well.?
I have serious FOMO

Best wishes
Maz

Ok folks! Here are the artifacts from today - not edited nor cleaned up. Right now getting the sharing going is top priority, but there are a TON of lessons to be gleaned from today. Tomorrow AM at 7AM PDT (check ?to find your time - sorry I'm too crushed to get the right set url - and join us. Information in the groups.io calendar on the group's website. Tomorrow will be less interactive - you will be watching a team use Ecocycle to figure out their next move of converting their organizational meetings online.?

Thanks to Elana for recording and all you note takers!

?

Thanks
N

Love ? the TRIZ (even if I can¡¯t pronounce the Russian!)
