I now know we have critical mass, so no one else needs to RSVP. If there are any of you attending who are skills tech hosts on zoom, we are now to the size where it would be WONDERFUL to have a tech host to manage breakout rooms. Please let me know privately if you can do that for either Thursday's or Friday's meetings.?
AND, I'm encouraging people to post their events. There is also a calendar and I THINK members can add to it. If someone wants to experiment, go for it.
AND to whomever(s) are cleaning up the Google Doc - THANK YOU. YOU ARE APPRECIATED. I think we are going to need to fork into multiple threads soon, so brilliant people, keep figuring it out and making it happen.?

Hi,
Maybe it is good to know that I train teachers and students of all levels to learn online, from digital literacies to blended learning and to Problem Based Learning online in online communities of Inquiry. So when anyone need help. I do this as a freelancer and I have more then 10 years of experience on different settings and platforms. I have work in international settings. Let me know when someone needs help.

Sorry, I am not able to join the Zoom session. My contribution on this (after 10 years living a professional life online):
- - Stop with bad internet connection, learn how to measure and improve your internet connection.
- - Stop with bad audio and headaches:?Make sure you are listened to; use a good headset
- - Stop with not using the mute button on your mic. I don't want to hear your dog barking, your coughing, your children screaming for cookies.
- - Stop with being afraid of silence. Don't talk too much when you have made your point. Learn how to give the floor to others and ask clarifying or critical questions.
- - Stop with only being functional, effici?nt and rational online; we are humans and we need socializing
- - Stop with waisting time of participants by bad preparations of the sessions
- - Stop with excluding participants by being not clear about the context of your online event.
- - Stop by being arrogant and ask people what they think or want, have good and valuable interaction for everyone.
And you will find more! Have a good session! I love to hear more results, Francisca

How to assess and determine useful options for moving your meetings, work and events online in the time of Covid-19. This is an experimental session. Come prepared to learn, work and give feedback!
My plan is to have one person/group who wants to look strategically on moving online right now to do their ecocycle in a small team while we watch, breakout to give advice, then reflect on the process. I hope we can do it in 60 minutes but it might take
90 since this is a prototype. I may have one org ready, but if you or you know of an appropriate org, ping me. We can always set up a second session next week.

I realize that there are some existing, ready to go offerings that people have/are making. Here are a few that I want to call to your attention to.
- ?WeDialog's "Evergreen" courses, The Practical Magic of Online Hosting?Mastering the Art of Tech Hosting - which addresses how to deploy tools like Zoom in masterful ways?
- University of Capetown's Facilitating Online aimed at online educators in Africa (but maybe we can convince them to broaden the offering Nicola and Tony??)??
Others I've found, but don't know about:
- ATD's paid course on facilitating online?
- PBS's teacherline (paid course)?
What else is out there up and running people can tap into?

There are some educators who are really well connected to other educators online and they are already naturally supporting each other. As I wait here to find out if our local public K-12 schools will close, I think about what support educators who are NOT connected will need to continue to teach if their school closes. Of course in an urban district like Seattle, the issues of equity and access to online learning are significant, so people are thinking about mailing lessons, etc to families.?
Does anyone know of people/resources who are starting to reach out and support these less online-familiar teachers?? Tony Carr, are there lessons from South Africa??
