Re: Pairing / Supporting: Facilitators on the job
I love the idea of pairing! Ed, I’d be happy to pair/support as well. I have used ecocycle offline, and have experience some experience online with this tool, and a bit more with other tools. I’d be happy to do a call (maybe with Elana??) to help get you started? Catherine

Pairing / Supporting: Facilitators on the job
Hi all,? Can we find a way to buddy up? Find ways for us to support eachother as we do our works? Do tech stewarding? Co-facilitating? Mentoring? etc.? I'm going to write out my situation - as a starter for ten/call for support/experimental template for laying out the info.? I'm interested to see:? (a) what my call for support leads to (b) how the call for support 'template' I've laid out below is useful and how it can be improved ... Breathe...? Here's the situation: A small local bereavement therapy charity I volunteer for have suddenly gone remote. This is huge for the staff who run the organisation, the therapists who do the therapy, and the clients receiving therapy. Everything has changed for everyone suddenly. And is only going to get more serious as the next few weeks/months go by. They are getting by with Office 365 basics for now. They have a mix of urgent need for transformation and a very sensitive domain.?
- Proposal: I've suggested that the Ecocycle workshop could be a good reflection process before we wade in to choosing tools and flows.?
- Challenge: I haven't led an Ecocycle workshop before. I haven't done any online meetings with them before. They are new to Zoom. I don't want to overwhelm them.?
- Support: at this point, I could really do with: someone who has done this before, someone who can do tech stewarding, maybe both, maybe that's the same person
- Timezone: UK GMT (about to be BST)?
- Likely times: Thursday sometime
- Money: I'm volunteering, this would be voluntary support
best wishes Ed (This is picking up from Nancy's suggestion to start a new thread about this from here:? /g/f4c-response/message/258)
