Re: Online Youth Liberation School - platform ideas?
Kajabi Rocks!!! It’s a bit expensive, but if you are running courses on it, it’s an amazing value.

I looked at google classroom, but if people have other suggestions that would be great. Or if anyone out there is doing a similar project I'd love to connect.

Re: Is there a registration tool on Zoom?
Hello Elana,
Yes, you can use Eventbrite to collect payment from users, and then with Zapier, you can give everyone who registers access to a Zoom event on QiqoChat.? Here are the .
There are two types of events on Qiqo: - One is more social -- people jump between online gardens; each garden has a button to open Zoom and is always open 24/7.? Here's the example for the Liberating Structures community: ? This is great for a community or business that wants to meet for online lunches, virtual happy hours, etc.
- The other is more collaborative for workshops.? Here's an example of an online hackathon where 15 project groups come together for an opening session and then work in parallel Zoom breakout?rooms:???Here are the .
Cost: - The host organization can pay 1 cent/min per person?+ $1/user per month
- Or individual members can pay $3/month
You can create a new circle for your group/business/community?.? I'm happy to help if you have any questions!

Thank you all :)?
I love meeting planners almost as much as I love bookmarking things :)?
My favourite from a brief look at these is??(with children screaming downstairs and it's my childcare shift in 1 minute). I like the UI, adding different timezones, and then being able to send it out as a link with all the zones on it.?

How to do a Virtual Conversation Cafe with NCDD
#events
Passing this along from NCDD
Hi Friends,?
?
We find ourselves in unprecedented times. I hope you are all healthy and hanging in there.?
?
NCDD has been working quickly to offer some opportunities for folks in our network to connect, as we have much to share and think about together right now. One such offering will take place next Wednesday, March 25 from 1-3 PM Eastern/10 AM-Noon Pacific. We will be hosting a virtual Conversation Cafe via Zoom to allow folks to come together to share how they are feeling and thinking in these tough times, as well as explore what we might do next.?
?
This is an exciting opportunity to see Conversation Cafe used in a virtual format. Susan Partnow, one of the creators of the process, and I have been working on developing materials to help you host your own, and we will share these out soon as well.?
?
Join us to connect and learn more about how this process may be useful to your work or your connecting going forward. More information is below and at?.?

I hope to connect with you soon - stay safe and all the best to you.?

Announcing a Virtual Conversation Cafe about COVID-19
Posted by???|??March 19th, 2020??|?
Friends, the desire for connection and thinking together is overwhelming in this time of physical distancing. NCDD, along with our member and dear friend Susan Partnow, have decided to offer another opportunity for our network to come together in dialogue to support us all during this time.?Next Wednesday, March 25th from 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM-Noon Pacific, we will hold a virtual Conversation Cafe – all are welcome!??to join us.
This Cafe is intended as an opportunity for us to connect around how we are feeling and what we are thinking at this time, as well as exploring what we do next. We hope this will help build community among us in this difficult time, as well as help generate ideas for what we might do individually and collectively.
It will also be an opportunity for you to experience??in an online format. This model is an elegantly simple process for bringing people together in small group conversations to share, listen to one another, and deepen their understanding of one another and a topic. It was built for face-to-face conversations, but Susan and I have been experimenting with it online and are finding that it may be a great model to help people connect virtually during a time of distancing physically. We plan to share some materials for moving this to an online format in advance of the call!
If you want to participate,?!

Re: What is the best world time / meeting planner tool?
When I am dealing with meetings between only two timezones, I find that is the most effective way to let others find a time when I am available. I find that I can set up a secondary timezone in my google calendar, so that I know what time they are at when I suggest meetings.?
If I have a list of people all with google calendar, then I can check if they are available in the invite.?

It was a team farewell meeting, and one thing we did which was really useful: Instead of flip charts we used slides. E.g. One slide per person in an appreciation activity, where everyone could write what they appreciated about the other, and then all could read what others had written about them and we landed together all looking at each other through video, and sharing some reflections. It is easier to set up and reply to when you have a large number of options, or when dealing with whole days.

Hi Ed,
If you’re just looking for for a timezone tool, I use/like?
If you’re looking for a tool that helps find a time when everyone can meet (or at least most people), I use?, I find it especially good with groups.?
Then for finding a time for people to meet with me, I have just started using Calendly??and it seems to work okay. Although the free version only lets you have one meeting type/length
of meeting, so I am contemplating whether it’s worth the cost to upgrade.
Hope that helps,
Stephanie?
