Teams and Zoom are wildly different!?
The description of doing it in Zoom is good. Personally I would do it with Qiqochat wrapped around Zoom, and ass in Wonder or Spatial Chat to create corridor tracks.?
judy Rees, my wife and business partner, ran her furst open space online unconference 6 years ago, when everybody said it was impossible. It isn¡¯t! Metaphorum celebrates it¡¯s 6th year on Dec 4th, already in Zoom, this is the first time in Qiqochat.?
In Teams the biggest challenge is going to be access. If they are ALL in the system, not visitors, I think you can hack it. If they are non system members then you are likely to have quite a nightmare!

don't think that the folks in charge are going to approve a
zoom poll, but I could see them going for a google form since
we can get their member numbers that way and confirm that
they're allowed to vote. And though I wish it were just a
simple poll, we'll need the data from it afterwards - not just
live results.?
And Julian I didn't mind the sales-y pitch at all. It's always
good to learn about new (to me) tools.

A few years ago, at a non-profit where I served on the board, we happily used ElectionBuddy for running board elections at our annual member meeting (<$100 for <1,000 participants). Supports anonymous voting, election audit and other key e-voting features (which some of the other tools mentioned so far may not have):

Hi Sara, I experienced A very well done OS in which a google doc was used to collaboratively set the agenda/topics then have individuals sign up for each discussion. This was done by popping the emergent topic headings and times into a table which individuals then browsed through and put their names into. Below the table were corresponding links to separate zoom meetings 1 per room, with lots of extras to allow for many topics, maybe one for hallway conversations). These Meeting spaces were set to go as long as needed by the discussions. People could use their two feet to move between zoom meetings. Google docs were used in each room as flip charts. The tricky part is to remind people to watch the time so they remember to rejoin the plenary space when scheduled at end of day. It was helpful to have a back channel to send reminders about logistics and plenary. We were all on a WhatsApp group and used group texts for this. Facilitators also popped into zoom meeting spaces with reminders as needed. Plenary stayed open in case someone was struggling to find their way. Lots of support was key.?

I recommend Slido. Free version and paid upgrade if needed. Can run quizzes, polls, create word clouds and share results live on screen (or switch results off if you don¡¯t
want people to see them). Can vote via phone or computer and we have been using this successfully in our training for a few weeks now.

A simple way is to use polls in Zoom. ?Make sure people register so you know who they are, or depending on the number of attendees, you may want someone to check them in as the enter the waiting room.
