stereo connector as power plug
Hi all, I'm looking at a data logging unit and was hoping I could use a stereo connector as the connector for the unit. I need 5V, ground and signal. My second choice is a 5 pin PS2 mouse connector.

with out a datasheet, its just a paperweight. google is a great way to trace this kind of stuff down. find a datasheet and that will tell you a lot. You may find others that have the same device and

I don't think it's an LCD from a laptop because it's only 5". Also, it must be a surplus or something because it didn't come with datasheets, and I had a really hard time finding it online.

thanks scott. It would be ok to get rid of the opamp. I found one line from TI (TSL250/251/252) with integrated amps that looks promising but TI says its obsolete with no recommended replacement. sigh
