My friend's daughter snagged one cut out, went out and bought a "piano hinge" and some 2" dowels with hinges and has made a fold against the wall work area for her bedroom. I can see this being a good solution for some situations.
The blanks make perfect drill press mounts. They are 1/2 to 3/4 inch 'marine' plywood.
I used '' because they aren't quite marine grade but the glue is water proof.
