I have downloaded psud2_build79, and I think I need to create a new rectifier model to cover the GZ34/5AR4.

On the other hand it looks like it might already be modelled in a library of rectifiers (that I can't find).

Sorry to be dim-witted Duncan.

Is there already a pre-existing model, or do? I scratch build the model?

Sorry to hear the list of rectifiers is not coming up. Do you get a message at startup "Unable to load default PSU"? Also, I've included details of the end to end process below:

Hover the mouse cursor over the PSU so the transformer and rectifier all light up yellow by positioning on the word "Bridge (SS)". Right click and select Change. Click on Full Wave and then OK.

If you hover over the rectifier(s) there will be a yellow block surrounding them. Once they are "in scope", you can right click on the rectifiers and select Edit. This should bring up a rectifier selection window:

From here you should be able to pick GZ34 or 5AR4 (they are identical models). The rest should be as the instructions in the help file on Modelling Your First Power Supply.
