Re: Enhabcement
Hi Duncan, The small resistances are the wire. The circuit is as built in the amp. I know I can parallel up the parts and had done so in the initial run. effective saves 10s in execution, gains 10s in

Re: Enhabcement
Hi Ian, This circuit is problematic in a significant number of places. R1 - 10 milliohm resistor goes into 40uF capacitor with series resistance of 4.24 ohms and an inductor with resistance of 25

Re: Enhabcement
For what circuit?? Using default circuits, even with extreme capacitor, on an older 8GB 3MHz Win7 PC, 99 Second simulation: no error and 7 or 8 seconds. Also: what do you expect to change at 80

Enhabcement
Hi Duncan, My PC has 32GB and I get OOM messages when I try to simulate over 80s delay. Additionally, is updating the screen with calculation status slowing the final data? Seems slightly lethargic

Re: Feature request
Hi Fabio, This is on the "to do" list, there have been a number of requests for this type of hybrid bridge rectifier where users want a vacuum tube top half and solid state bottom half. Spookily, I've

Feature request
I've been using this brilliant piece of software for years but I think there's a missing function that could be useful to many diyers. I'm referring to hybrid bridges. Now I'm working at a little 2A3

Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
Hi Duncan, It's the primary voltage of the transformer that flips back to a default of 240 immediately after entering my value of 120. Maybe this doesn't affect the outcome but I seem to remember the
Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
Hi Allen, When you say the Mac version isn't behaving or holding certain values, what is the issue and what are the values? I ask because the simulator has 100% identical code between Windows/Mac

Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
Hey Allen, It might be overdoing but you could always install Oracle¡¯s ¡°Virtual Box¡± software, download Windows (I think Windows will run for 30 days before asking for a reg key), load Windows

Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
Hi Dom, I'm good with that. My problem is I'm stuck with only my MacBook Pro here in the hospital and the Mac version of PSUD2 is not behaving and won't hold certain values for simulation so I don't

Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
I think I botched writing up the B+ voltages as relating to B1 through B3. For clarity, 3rd from last filter section is 280V, 2nd from last is 265V, last section is 245V. Allen
Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
I've got a couple of weeks left in the hospital and was hoping someone could run the PS simulation so I can put in an order for various resistors to start experimenting with as soon as I get out. The

Re: Transformer primary voltage entry won't stay put on Mac version
transformer current capability for high voltage section is 60 mA. Load is 13.2 mA I am not aware of anyone else working on this. I'm glad I had to go through the specs again as I was in error in the

I'm going through medical treatments for the next 30 days at a hospital and only have my Mac laptop with me to run PSUD2. Looking for help from anyone who can run my PS design on their PC so I can

Duncan, Thanks for looking into the issue with the primary voltage flipping with the Mac. I'll use my PCs for now so not a problem. The menu bar hiding out is not a problem for me as all I have to do
