John, why is the RELS still pulled? Six months ago Egor said he had wanted his code to be open source.
I probably?need to ask Richard. I have not been to the Russian forum in a long time there might be new discussions.

All I am asking is just a "hello" from forum members of 260+?
Nothing more or nothing less, if members?cannot be bothered to respond with a simple "hello"?
then they have either passed on, or have not been interested in any of the large range of digitalhobbyist topics.
I do not think there is a more diversified forum for digital hobbyists than this one.?
The last meaningful post was by me in April 2021,?we were?receiving over 50 posts per month in?the?heyday
and I do not think blaming the?Covid pandemic has any relevance,?in fact most of us being in some kind of?
"Lockdown" over the past year should have meant possibly more time on our hands to be hobbyists. and

Gene, you have responded "fantastic", and I appreciate it very much.
I am just trying to get a reality check on whether we continue with the forum or it goes the way?
many other forum groups go and that is down the pan through?apathy ?
It would be a pity to pull the plug, I do not want to do this, but again just a simple hello, or even suggestions on how
to improve this forum or anything.??
All?the best to fellow hobbyists.

I remember that "incident" very well. It did strike me as very peculiar, to use a polite term.
It was John L in October 2020 in the "No compound" thread - a topic started by yourself :)
I found and joined this group because the topics being discussed are interesting to me.
I am just learning from the knowledgeable people here and very rarely comment,
because I don't feel like I have something valuable to contribute.
Now I'm hearing that 30 days without posting will get one kicked out from this group.
To be honest, this sounds rather outrageous to me. Many internet forums or discussion groups are owned/operated by a single individual or a small group,
so it's natural that some of them will enforce some kind of rules that make sense to them. These rules are usually clearly listed when you register on the forum.
But so far I haven't participated in an internet community where you are suddenly told that not posting will get you kicked out.
I wish JimJohn was just grumpy, and didn't really mean it?
Wish everyone well, in case I will be kicked out after this post :)

Well, it is now 222 members, it was 266 only about 5 hours ago... a greater than 15% membership decrease
And if John sends a thumbs emoji to the group, instead of replying to the sender (there is a link in every email that directs the reply to the sender, it's in Blue and underlined) guess what - it is double the number of hello emails...
