I have a set of Daylight illuminated passenger cars that I would like to work. I have all the parts but can’t seem to get them to illuminate. Disassembled the lights work on the metal frame. Can someone explain the right way to work?

Is the goal to restore them to original, or simply to get working lights in the cars?

If the later, I’ve had good results with Rapido’s Easy Peasy lighting.?
