Re: A1G 3000 Series Pulpwood Flat Cars

Rick Will

Hi Andre',
One of the best places for me to find A1G cars are at a model railroad swapmeet (AKA- GATS or private show). I can usually find these at a good, reasonable price without having to go to places like ebay. I have a friend here who part of a N track group (Orange County N-gineers) who buys stuff up and sells at swapmeets plus will sell direct to the customer via mail system. If anyone's interested, just give me a howler and I'll give you his e-mail address. You can contact him on what your looking for in A1G and go from there. You can give him a list of what your looking for and he can contact you if he should run across what your looking for it by chance he doesn't have it on hand.

Howzit All,
This list is awfully quiet, so maybe it's time I post something just to see if anybody is still out there! <g>
I have one of the A1G 3000 series pulpwood flat cars (#3003, WM 756) and I've been looking for the other cars in the set for years now, without success.
Anybody have some of these for sale? I don't need MIB, since I only have runners and I'll therefore be replacing the couplers and wheels anyway. Same for the plastic logs - twigs from the white stinkwood trees in my garden make a much better looking load.
Regards,
Andr? Kritzinger, Cape Town.
