"So, are you a mutant yourself?" he asked, looking at Liza with curiosity.? "You don't look any different from the others I've seen coming and going here.? I've been, well, kind of watching your place for a few weeks now.? To make sure it was safe," he added quickly.? "There are some people trying to find me."

Liza knew she had already answered that question, but decided to answer it again instead of pointing out the other. "Yes, I am. I have the ability to camaflouge to my surroundings. Most mutants appear normal. We just have unique abilities beyond a normal human."


She didn't question who might be looking for lad. "This way to the kitchen." She said as she guided Gen through the main entryway.?

With a smile he turned around to see Bridget there, "what are you doing, Papa?" She asked as he scooped her up into his arms and carried her inside.

"Well, we are picking out some things for Khadashee to have in our home. She needs to feel like it is her place as well." He answered.?

"Ask the lady if she would like your help." He said as he put her down. Bridget quickly found Khadashee remembering what she looked like from earlier. "Miss, can I help?"

Maybe she saved him permission something. It did intrigue him.

Donny was moving through his defensive positions. He liked to work out in the sunlight instead of the little room that had been designated the gym. He hoped that Ms. Del and Ms. Mia would be building an actual gym soon. But the sunlight helped him with his strength which was his ability after all. He had finished his weight lifting and his sparing moves. He wished there was someone who could handled his punches to have someone he could actually spar with.

Tanaka was not angry with her decision, but she was clearly disappointed when she boarded a ship back to the United States. She had only seen Tanaka a couple times since then, working security details at Vampire Nation events. They had only exchanged smiles and nods during those occasions, so having the Lady here, at this event where Tempest would certainly display their relationship was going to be awkward.?

She was not only impressed that Scarlett had managed to get so close to the lady, but also earn her respect. That would definitely work in her favor. And specifically care for her needs while she was here at the club since despite her rank, I do have a club to run and there will be others here other than her which will cause me to have to make my rounds. "There had been an attempt on Lady Tanaka's life. I received orders to travel to Japan and to join her security detail," said Scarlett. "In 1910 the Japanese Empire was embroiled in a war against the Koreans. Lady Tanaka supported this war effort through a secret deal with the Japanese government -- financial support for their war machine in exchange for fresh blood...Koreans who were shipped over to Japan and given to her as cattle, essentially.
"A Korean warlord's daughter was among this...cattle...and he vowed vengeance on the lady, especially when he learned she was a vampire," she continued. "I led the security detail and prevent at least two assassination attempts. Afterwards, I also led the team that went to Korea and killed the warlord and wiped out his clan. I was sent back to the U.S. afterwards."

As for how I feel about her, well, she is like every other prince...up tight and business only. Oh, but this one has a werewolf as a pet or something. The other was Lady Hayami Tanaka, probably around 1910. I was assigned as her bodyguard for six months. Those are the only ones."

And what if she is only visiting and she leaves town," Tori said sitting down at the table. She watched her brother and then frowned. "How did you feel about this Prince? Alex smiled. "I really like her. She is just as deviant and diabolical as the rest of us are" the woman said "You and I will talk."
"No, you will not. You both need to behave. We are here to witness a joyous occasion, not try to sabotage it."
"Do you know any good places on the island?" JD asked. "I heard the restaurant food is delicious, but if you have suggestions we are all ears."

(Carmen)
Carmen made a pouty face, "well, you're no fun." She said to Rhemy, then gave the girl a smile, "but you are right. No one should have their marriage sabotaged." She gave Alex a wink, then to the group, "well, there is a local place along the beach that serves the freshest fish you can find on the island if you like seafood. If not then there is a little Italian Bistro about 30 minutes away. What would you like?"
