SEM Skegness Seasiders
Hi all At Stagecoach East Midlands the elderly Trident/ALX400s which have now retired from the Skegness Seasiders work lost their cherished registrations in favour of their 'as new' registrations earlier this month and are now for disposal. Volvo B7TL/Wright 16943, the former Lincoln Tour Bus which was PIW 4457, has also gained it's original registration (FX06 AOE) and is also for disposal. Former "Rocky the Seasider" 19169 has now been repainted as the new Lincoln Tour Bus and been re-registered from TIL 7901 to PIW 4457. The "new" Skegness Seasiders fleet - former Manchester E400 Hybrids - are being prepared for use and will be gaining the plates previously carried by the Tridents/19169.? The first few converted Hybrids will be on display tomorrow between 11am and 1pm at Skegness Bus Station for anyone in the vicinity. Ian |
I'm told that featured at the launch earlier were: 12029 - Rocky the Seasider.? Was MX10 MVT, now TIL 7901 (this reg was on the previous Rocky) 12034 - Sunny the Seasider.? Was MX10 MVZ, now S815 BWC (yes, the Trident plate, not a typo!.? This reg was on the previous Sunny) 12037 - Scoop the Seasider.? Was MX60 BVD, now BLZ 1424 (this reg wasn't on one of the previous Seasiders, but has been used by RoadCar many times previously.? The previous Scoop was LX51 FLR). And another one.... 12041 - Sandy the Seasider.? ?Was MX60 BVH, now S813 BWC (again, reusing the plate that was on a previous Seasider). Ian On Thu, Mar 21, 2024 at 1:29?PM ian@yorkshirebus <yorkshirebus@...> wrote:

Does anybody happen to know what registrations S813BWC, S815BWC (and any others that have been used) now have? They'll have to have been re-registered with another registration (likely just another generic DVLA issued S-reg) in order to remove 813/815 from them, even if they don't physically carry them if they're destined for scrap.? Thanks
