Locked Recent Arrivals - Willow Lake


 

Nothing truly rare to report, but I had some fun seasonal birds at Willow Lake South shore this morning. I've seen Lincoln's Sparrows in small groups recently, including 7 or 8 this morning. Two Bank Swallows were with a flock of about 50 Barn Swallows. And several Marsh Wrens perched up and scolding? from the weeds.??

Nothing rare but spectacular arrivals overnight with weathert in Sedona - ?Boynton Canyon/Enchantment area: ?red-named sapsuckers, western bluebirds huge flocks of robins, ruby-crowned kinglets - huge numbers of white-throated swifts working through the canyon.? Summer tanagers still here - western tanagers still passing through
