It does seem to have enough power, but I want smoothness... can you give me more data on your Sagami conversion?

I also picked up a Big Boy at the same time, it has a center Can motor that is butter so it doesnt need messed with. The both pf them need new tires though, they've thrown their originals. Tires I can handle, I have a source, and I will make a post when it gets done.?

The motor in the FEF-3 is the large one in all of their UP large steam and is actually quite powerful and cool running, but... it only has three poles.

I fit a sizeable Sagami in mine. It mounted easily on the original mount. There's a lot of room in that firebox.
