Looking for Yeasu tun/lin TTL protocol

Hey guys, here is some history to help understand my need;

in the ft8X7 and ft100 radios Yaesu was offering a mini din 8 pin connector that had 3 functions, CAT TTL, TUNER, LINEAR, through simple config in the radio, this is actually back in FT710 that brought back CAT3 via TUN/LIN minidin8 connector.

between the these two groups of radios they dropped the CAT TTL function of the TUN/LIN mini din connector for a separate RS232 connector, ?part of that minidin8 TUN/LIN connector dual usage is a simple TTL connection using the same pin out as the CAT TTL as for the ft8X7 connector.

I am looking for the commonly used TTL ?communication protocol to control the linear via the TUN/LIN minidin8 connector.

let me be clear I am NOT looking for the Yeasu CAT protocol, I don¡¯t think (could be wrong?) they use there CAT COMMANDS for this?

let me know.

specific info on the link specification (speed, etc¡) would also help me.

The RS-232 connector presents the same information except it's not TTL. TTL stands for transistor-transistor logic and has generally referred to using 5 volt logic levels. Most ham radio implementations are actually open collector pulled to ground.
?
It's still a Yaesu CAT interface.

Thanks Chris, I am aware of the diff between RS232 and TTL, if you have a chance please look in the support section of my website WWW.VE2DX.COM?for my Whitepaper called TrueTTL.

I need TTL connection for some of my Yeasu oriented projects, I am hoping the Yaesu Protocol used over TTL on the TUN/LIN connector might be usable for my needs? But can¡¯t find any documentation on it, and no it isn¡¯t CAT, except on the FT8X7, FT100, and FT710 when properly configured, all other radios don¡¯t support CAT on that connector even if it is EVERYWHERE!?!
