Re: RigExpert Ti-3000
I've not used the RigExpert, but have interfaced a Raspberry Pi to the 847. The diagram looks good, at least on the 847 side. The TRS jack is used for the HF (SSB) modes. As shown in your diagram, the

Re: International Space Station (ISS)
Hi Rob, Good question! It¡¯s a great rig but as you know it¡¯s also older technology. Personally, I would start with the user¡¯s manual. It has a pretty complete description of how to use the FT847

International Space Station (ISS)
Hi I've never used the satellite facility on the FT-847. How does one set it up to work through the FM Repeater on the ISS. Is it possible to save the CTCSS Tone on the uplink? Any guidance would be

I got mine a couple of years back and the only problem I have is that it needs an alignment. The display is off frequency 50 - 500 hz depending on the band. I've just learned to live with it and keep

Bought mine in the 90's and use it regularly mainly for 6 and 2 Meter SSB and WSJT-X. It has had very few problems over the years. Lost memories and the memory switch is goofy. Still a good HF back up
