Love is like the wind.? We can feel it. We can see what it does. We sing about it.
we speak about it and even dream about it. but what is it really?? Is it just the words we say when we are happy?? Is it shown in what we do for another?

In a world where things have to be seen to believe what does love look like?
Can you reach out and touch love? Is there a scientific formula that can reproduce love? Is there a dictionary that truly defines what love is?
the bible describes love in 1 corinthians 13:4-7:

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud.
1 Corinthians 13:5 Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it.
1 Corinthians 13:6 Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth.
1 Corinthians 13:7 Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits.

In the world we live in this discription would seem impossible to do.? And you know, you would be so right.? because on our own it is impossible!? The world illogically teaches us that we are the only person we should put first in our life. With this mindset this discription of love is quite impossible. Let me assure you that there is a way to take the first step in living out what this discription of love teaches; Let Jesus help you in taking that first step.

He can help us put selfishness aside. He can help us know the joy in helping others.? he can walk with us through the pain we endure. I can go on and on but the one thing he can help us with the most is the ability to forgive a wrong done to us.? Then we can reach out and embrace what love truly is.
