Help

So I am researching my family. I have went as far back as I can and I¡¯m stuck. I have found on ancestry.com that my furthest relative is Sebastian Boston Ollis (1744-1835). I found elsewhere that his fathers name is Peter Frederick Ollis (1715-1787). Sebastian moved to the us and started his family tree there. I¡¯m wanting to know about the family he left behind in wales. I¡¯m just wanting to travel down that lineage and see where I come from and if I have any relatives alive. Any help would be fantastic!

The 19th Century British Surname Atlas only shows 5 people with the Ollis surname in Wales in 1881. Four were in Flintshire and one in Monmouthshire. You should try the christening records for Wales on FamilySearch, Ancestry or Findmypast to see if you can find information on your specific ancestors. The National Burial Index on Findmypast may also help you locate your Ollis family.
