Rhythm Kids Music Classes for Big Kids! Calling all 4-8 year olds come join us to try out a Free Demo class Thursday @ 4pm across the street from Bennet Park. In each weekly music class, we drum, sing, move, and play to rhythms inspired by musical traditions around the world, from West African Gahu, to Japanese Taiko, to Brazilian Samba, just to name a few. Students learn to compose, choreograph, and conduct as they play¡ªand play with!¡ªa variety of musical instruments: West African djembe drums, percussion instruments, and, the most important instruments of all, their voices and their bodies. I am pleased to announce that Winter Registration is OPEN for our upcoming Drum & Tiger collections beginning January 6, 2025. We are offering classes indoors at Hebrew Tabernacle Monday through Thursday, including a newborn babies class for 0-9month olds, a big kids class for our 4-8yr olds, and continuing our Mixed Aged Music Together classes in the morning, afterschool and an after work option too for 0-5yrs! Always B Creative - Upcoming Events at Always B Creative What I love best about the Music Together program is we really let kids be, well, KIDS! We let them learn in a developmentally-appropriate way: which is through PLAY! We PLAY with music so much in our classes, including dancing, exploring all types of tempos, tonalities & playing with instruments multiple times in every single class. As you nurture your child¡¯s inner music-maker, you¡¯ll also be supporting their social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Even the littlest learners benefit; in fact, music is an amazing brain-booster for babies... so please share with a new parent in our neighborhood to spread the musical love & have them join us for a free trial! Hello Neighbors, We can't say enough great things about Ms. Jackie, her teachers & the studio itself. My tiny dancer loves her time in class and wishes everyday was a dance day! They offer a variety of disciplines besides ballet for PreK through teens. Dancing through life?, Briana & Olive, 8yrs. *** Registration for January classes is now open at Uptown Ballet Academy! We offer high quality dance and theater classes for preschoolers through teens in Inwood.
