Field Day dates are incorrect in our meeting
I am in the process of putting the minutes together tonight and I noticed that it was mentioned (I think my me) that Field Day is on the last weekend of the month. That is incorrect. It is the 4th weekend of the month. Sometimes it aligns with it being the last, but not this year. The correct date is June 22 11am to June 23rd 11am. That would make the dinner on 21st, not the 27th.
In the minutes, I have the dates originally talked about listed, but I have added text in red showing the correction. Normally I don't think I should put that correction in the actual minutes outside of a meeting, but because of the nature of the event, I want to make sure it is listed and that everyone is informed.
The minutes will be out tonight.

?? As many of you have heard by now, MFJ is ceasing its on-site production in Starkville, Mississippi on May 17, 2024.? This is also the same for our sister companies’ Ameritron, Hygain, Cushcraft, Mirage and Vectronics.

?? Times have changed since I started this business 52 years ago.? Our product line grew and grew and prospered.? Covid changed everything in businesses including ours.? It was the hardest hit that we have ever had and we never fully recovered.?

?? I turned 80 this year.? I had never really considered retirement but life is so short and my time with my family is so precious.

?? I want to thank all of our employees who have helped build this company with me over the years.? We have many employees who have made MFJ their career for 10, 20, 30, 40 and more years.?

?? We are going to continue to sell MFJ products past May 17, 2024.? We have a lot of stock on hand. We will continue to offer repair service work for out-of-warranty and in-warranty units for the foreseeable future.?

A lot of different uses for this, what I'm trying for mainly is to display decoded RTTY data from the many newer ham radios that have DATA connectors on them. And/or packet radio signal data.
(can "read the news" from far away, or respond to a CQ)

???? We have a new Technician! Cory Rush passed his test on Tuesday night, but unfortunately, the FCC systems crashed and he didn't get his call sign till this morning. So far it looks like he can reach NK7J's Union repeater on 147.060. Beaver Mt is just a little bit too far with just the standard HT antenna.

ARLB007 FCC to Require Two Factor Authentication for CORES Users
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced an
upcoming change to the Commission Registration System (CORES) that
licensees use to pay any application or regulatory fees, manage or
reset a password on an existing FRN, or request a new FRN. Beginning
March 29, 2024, multifactor authentication will be implemented.
Users will be prompted to request a six-digit secondary verification
code, which will be sent to the email address(es) associated with
each username. The user will then need to enter the code into CORES
before they can continue.
In a public notice, the FCC said this change will make the system
more secure. "This additional layer of security will further
safeguard against unauthorized access, thereby enhancing the overall
integrity of information contained within the CORES system and
improving the security of user data," it read.

The FCC recommends that users confirm they have access to their
username account email and to add a secondary email address, if need
be.
Resources are available for those who need assistance with the
system. For inquiries or assistance regarding the implementation of
multifactor authentication on CORES, submit a help request at
