MSU ham radio net meetings as of January 2025

Only Mark and I are actively involved at this point, and I was unable to do much with the club or the station last semester. Mark, however, was running a Monday night net on 447.7 repeater. At this point, I'm not sure what we're planning to do (nets, meetings, etc.) this semester -- hopefully Mark and I will have a chance to talk about that and get it figured out before too long. This weekend I was putting together a Field Manual and was constructing a page for all the local Gallatin Valley Repeaters.? I saw the 447.70 and tested it out this weekend to check if it was still operational, to my surprise it was.? Can you find out what time they are conducting the Monday net on 447.700?? That way we can post the info on the groups.io page and Facebook.? So others in the valley can test out their antennas and equipment on the 70cm band net.? Thank you, ?Stacy? Carol KA7ROL All Messages By This Member #2151 My impression is that Caroline and Mark (the only MSU students, it?appears, that are interested in Net Control) need to meet and make date/time/frequency decisions. My impression is that their station, W7YB, may be functional or may not be functional this semester.? My guess: 50-50. Carol P.S. Pat and I will set up our Yaesu FT-891 in the house and grounded outside the house for the Thursday?Net at 7:00 p.m. (receive and, hopefully, transmit). We will also keep the Eton running.
