GHRC August 1, 2024 Meeting and Presentation

Well - here we are almost to August.? Hope everyone is well and surviving the elevated warmth.? Spencer will be providing the presentation for our meeting on SOTA.? I know that Spencer has been quite active in SOTA and will have a lot of information to provide.? We will meet at the SAR Building in Bozeman with the business meeting starting at 1900 MDT and the presentation starting approximately at 1930 MDT.? I look forward to being at the meeting, participating, and seeing you there.? Figured I'd drop in some of the links to the software that I have been using for SOTA after my presentation this past Thursday.

Main SOTA Site:
You must register here before racking up any points

SOTA Atlas:
Great resource to see the local summits, along with information on each one
?
CalTopo:
This is the primary mapping software that I use, but Gaia, OnX, and others are just as good.
?
Weather:
Where I get my weather forecast. You can look at different weather models here
?
SOTAmat:
Generates a FT8 signal for SOTA/POTA spotting, along with a host of other information. Has an app that goes along with it.

thanks.? it would br great to hsvr some of the crazy mountain ultra people give a presentation on starlink coms and analog ham radio.
