Mel KJ9C All Messages By This Member #2165 Neil Thanks to the crew for getting the Big Sky repeater back up We (Rotary Club of Big Sky) will be changing out the batteries in the four 911 call boxes in the canyon sometime soon. Two are dead, but we are planning to change all four. That means we will have two 90 amp-hour 12 volt batteries that are still usable. One is two years old, and the other 3 or 4 years. The dead two made it over 6 years before they croaked. Can you use them for any of the repeaters? If you need a way to recycle the bad two and store the other two, drop them by my shop at 4 corners and I can store them for anyone that needs them later.
