To anyone coming out who hasn't left. I lost a bolt holding the steering stabilizer on my truck. I would definitely appreciate if someone would be kind enough to pickup a 1/2" bolt, 2" long with 2 flat washers, a lock washer and nut.

It's a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 dually if that helps.

Matt, I'm in the exact same boat as I have the FT-710 but haven't had the time to dial in the TX audio settings since buying it. A couple of Reddit threads and a Youtube video (that I did watch) that seem like could be helpful:

Eric and I will be heading up to Duck Creek Campground Friday afternoon, once we are done with afternoon shipping. So we plan on arriving between 3-4(optimistically thinking) but probably a bit later.

Directions: Turn on Lower Duck Creek Rd off Hwy 284. Follow the road all the way to the lake. Take the road on the left at the Y. Follow the road all the way to the end or until you see antennas.

Some retired hams from Helena are planning to come out and camp as well. I have not heard if they are arriving early and securing the area for us all. Coordinates of the location is: 46.46118 N, 111.50499 W.

As you get closer to the campground, monitor 146.52. Otherwise the Belmont repeater can be reached in the area.

Does anyone have a list of the optimized FT-710 audio settings? I just upgraded my firmware, and had to reset to default.

I tried looking up N4HNH's video on YouTube but He removed all of his content and locked them behind an expensive pay-wall.

I can head up Friday morning. Is that too early and are we reserved for a particular area?

I've got a large travel trailer and pickup totaling 50'. I also have 2 generators: a 4500w mounted and smaller 1600w portable so I can provide some power to others.

Not sure how much radio gear I'll bring but as you said, it's a good shakedown weekend.

Hello All,

I have scheduled for May 9-11 @ Duck Creek Campground for a Camper Shake Out. It will be a great weekend for radio play with the WY NVIS on Saturday and the location being a POTA entity (US-4572 Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail). The campground is located on the very south/east side of Canyon Ferry. This will be a great weekend to shake out the campers and ready them for the camping season and also to try out your portable stations for Field Day operations. There should be ample space to accommodate many campers.
