Re: Looking for Dual Band mobile

Hi Trevor,
I've got an older Yaesu FT-530 dual band I'd take $50 for. I bought it new. It hasn't been used very much but works fine. I've got the AA battery case and two rechargeable cases with NiMH batteries but they don't hold a charge. Both the large and small rechargeable packs can be rebuilt by Batteries Plus and others. Have original manuals and case.
If something like that will work let me know.

Re: New , High power tv on highflat

Hi, I just reviewed the FCC data for KBZK.? It appears they went to a taller tower, and a non-directional antenna.? Consequently, their ERP is a bit lower at about 14kw. However their assigned channel is 13, which is 210-216mhz.? That is a lot of RF in the vicinity of sensitive repeaters.? I could get my spectrum analyzer up there and see how clean the neighborhood is.

I wish I knew more to lend a credible voice to the conversation. Is it a new tower or on the same one?
