Hi All,

Not exactly a Ham Radio topic, but thought some of you may be interested.
Changed the battery in my cell phone, Motorola Droid Turbo II, for less than $10.

Can give advise and/or help, if your phone needs a new battery.

Hello All,

It's the beginning of the year and time to ask for donations to the
Association for the site rent and repeater maintenance costs.

I'm working on a matching grant from Orcale. If this grant is approved
then we may qualify for a dollar for dollar match.

I'll keep everyone informed as this progresses. Please hold off donating
until I know more.

Plus offset 88 rptr fixed

The plus offset input, for the 146.88- repeater, has been deaf as of late.
Installed a new receiving? antenna, thanks Skeet!, Monday about noon time.
It hears much better now.

As some of you know, much of Bozeman lies in the shadow of the Bridger 146.88- repeater.

To help getting into the Bridger repeater from Bozeman, a plus offset input to it was placed on the roof of Cobleigh Hall some years ago.

To use it, just program in a 146.88+ 100Hz channel into your radios.
Remember to switch back to the -offset when outside of Bozeman.

If you have had trouble getting into 88- from town, give the 88+ a try.

There is an RLC-4 controller at each repeater site that needs a cover plate.
.040 thick aluminum works just great, 4.4" x 7" is the perfect size.
Can cut over sized pieces to fit.

The RLC-4 comes with an enclosure, but have modified it to make adjustments easier.
Therefore, the need for a cover.
I use neodymium magnets to hold the cover in place on the steel enclosure.
No screws, just slide the cover away, make adjustments, and slide back into place.

Need about 10 pieces, a couple would get me by, the rest can wait until later.
ERA needs 4
MRLA needs 3

Any ideas of where there might be some for the asking?
Have checked Pacific every now and then, no luck so far.

Thanks,
Harley
