starlink pass w/clear a sky forecast tonight
They say a clear sky will allow us to see this pass of 48 or so starlink satellites tonight. 6:26 pm first one rising in the SW 6:33 pm last one rising in the SW rising to 72¡ã to 82¡ã in the SE 6:30 pm first one setting in the ENE 6:40 pm last one setting in the ENE Face South or Southeast, watch them rise in the SW and set in the ENE. Let there be clear skies this evening.... If it is clear, there will probably be a UFO invasion listed in the Chronicle police reports Wednesday. Just like the last good pass. Harley |

Good Laugh
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello all, I just had to post this email from one of my groups. The group name is repeater-builder. This is a cut and paste. Just couldn't help but getting a good belly laugh. Neil

Fast forward, aka "smash-cut" about 8 to 10 years later... I was asked to sub teach back at my old High School, so I went by the electronics classroom to see if anyone I knew was still around. The instructor had left, new guy in place and things were kind of the same. One learns you can rarely ever "go back" and expect all to be as it was. After some nice back and forth with the current instructor, I spotted my old 8 foot high Tesla Coil stored in the back of the room.?? "Hey, there's my old Tesla Coil"...? "You're the one who built that Tesla?" ... the instructor then proceed to tell me a story... Years before, someone had stolen/borrowed the control variac from the Tesla Coil base unit. I had never operated the Tesla up at anything above 20% of the Variac's full range potential.. it was quite the monster. Another person had later found the unit and decided to plug it in (less the variac) direct to the way, full mains supply potential ... and off it went. It started plasma cutting bolts across the room, keeping students pinned behind benches and around corners. Anyone attempting to move away from cover was quickly punished.? Someone managed to cut the building power about 25 minutes later, the AC power cord was quickly cut off the Tesla supply...? The class room still has hundreds of etch marks all over the walls and roof. Wasn't my fault...?? left the school that day, never saw that Tesla Coil again. Wonder if whom ever ended up with it... ever plugged it in. cheers, Hamm's Beer Neon Sign Power Transformer View/Reply Online | Reply To Group | Reply To Sender | Mute Topic | Top ^ | New Topic |

oops: Starlink pass 22 Dec Tues
Upon re-checking the next pass, I found that it is on Tuesday the 22nd. Sorry. I think that the prediction changed, although, I could have had a "brain fart".
A high and bright pass of Starlink satellites is forecast for Tuesday evening, 22 December. A string of 53 satellites should start at 5:15pm in the West Northwest at 10¡ã above the horizon. They should pass nearly overhead. From 80¡ã to 90¡ã above the horizon. And set at 5:30pm, in the Southeast at about 10¡ã above the horizon. Hope it is a clear evening, Harley I saw nothing Sunday, too cloudy. |

Belgrade Christmas Convoy
Truckers of the small town of Belgrade, just west of Bozeman, put this together As far as I know, it was not advertised. A friend sent this link to me. Quite a bit of clever electronics went into it, like inside of the rotating wheels etc ... Looks like helicopter and drone video. Merry Christmas, Harley |
