Hello All,

I have scheduled for May 9-11 @ Duck Creek Campground for a Camper Shake Out.? It will be a great weekend for radio play with the WY NVIS on Saturday and the location being a POTA entity (US-4572 Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail).? The campground is located on the very south/east side of Canyon Ferry.? This will be a great weekend to shake out the campers and ready them for the camping season and also to try out your portable stations for Field Day operations.? There should be ample space to accommodate many campers.?

I have the cable's here with the tower.
And am ashamed to say that I put that tower up without deploying the guy cable's thinking without anything on it it would take a lot of wind to tip and it over.? Well...it came down. Luckily very minimal damage.
Wayd and club, re to that 2nd tower just mentioned,? I vaguely remember erecting a section of rg25 or something at Dale's.? I made up a set of 3 steel cables for that tower.? so I have those to go with the tower.

I have another tower I got from Dale...I gave him $100 for it.? It will have to find a new home also. I think we did us this beam and tower out at Dales in the past?
For now I will plan on bringing the extra beam to field day.
Ultimately it will need to find a new home at some point.

Both have been used in the past but, yes,

serviced.? I replaced the traps on the Mosley some
years ago and it should be in near new condition. Personally, I
think the Mosley is the better beam and is
easier to assemble.? I rebuilt the traps on the Cushcraft about
15 years ago. In the short run (a few years)
I'd like to keep both until we see if we will be running 2 club
stations regularly at Field Day.? Or if we do, we decide to use
a beam for one station and (multi-band) dipoles at the other
station. To use a 2nd beam requires (at east) a 30' mast
to start seeing meaningful gain and directionality.? If there is
a choice I'd go with the Mosley.?? :-)
I believe I've mentioned there is an OCF multi-band dipole in the
trailer and I have a 20/40 m dipole we've used
in the past, as well.
SOMEWHERE, there? is a 40m? mono-band beam that belongs to the
club, but I don't know where it is.?? :-(
And, it hasn't been used in at least 25 years!?

Starting a new thread for discussion of the clubs beam.
I am storing a 3 element beam at my house that I have been told is property of the club.
I need to find a different place to store it.
I have never seen it used or even assembled in all the years I was active with the club.? So I don't know if the club wants to keep storing it or consider selling it.

This is basically the tower.? It's an older unit don't remember the brand name off hand but I believe it was acquired by this company.
