Hi Ronnie, You sent me a response to my request to set up my icom in my car but I do not know how to access your response. I am technologically?challenged. The unit power and battery connection are in. When I go to the channel 146.880 it doesn't work right. I will need someone who knows what their doing to get this working the way it is suppose to. Zoom Meeting Software
To All: For our presentations using Zoom Meeting: If you do not already have Zoom Client for Meetings on your computer please see the instructions?below which should simplify your installation.? You will need to do this well before our Thursday presentation with Bob Bruninga. 1: download (download the Zoom Client for Meetings).? Run the downloaded program to install it on your computer.? Please call me at (704) 806 - 8609 if you have any questions or issues.? I am not an expert but I bet we can get through it. Joining a Meeting Join using a link: If you were sent a link to join a Zoom meeting, or if you found it posted in the GHRC website, or on Facebook,? just click the link and follow the on screen instructions. Join a Meeting ID: 1.? Open the Zoom Application 2.? Click the blue "join" button 3.? Enter the 9 or 10 digit Meeting ID given to you and your name.? Click Join. Be sure to mute yourself using the microphone icon in the lower left corner of the screen. Use the chat feature in the lower middle of the screen to ask questions in the middle of the presentation.? Bob will let us know in the meeting how he wants to handle questions. Again - let me know if you would like any assistance and I can send you a trial meeting request for us to work out any bugs before Thursday.? Thanks to all.? Hi Carolyn Since covid we have been holding club meetings on the Bridget 146.88 repeater on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:00OPM.? This Thursday we are having a special presentation by Bob Bruninga the inventor of APRS.? His main focus in the presentation will be energy sources and emergency power in the ham shack but will also answer any questions on APRS also.? If you go to the Gallatin Ham Radio Club Site there is a meeting request there which has a link to the meeting and the passcode.? Please join us at the meeting.? The next two months will be presenters on Zoom Meeting.? Next month will be John Portune and the next month Bob Heil.? Also there is a net on the Bridger repeater each Tuesday night at 8:00PM.? Hi to everyone -? We have several upcoming GHRC programs/presentations? which I think will interest everyone.? Below is a listing of those presentations and others that are being contacted.? Mr. Bob Bruninga will be presenting in April or possibly sooner.? Hope that you are as excited about these programs as I am.Pat (AE7NZ) and Suzie Sands 每 DPS tour and general presentation on their products and services their company provides and discussion on electronics involved.? They are willing to do a tour at any time (will schedule during an evening) 每 we just need to mask up and be safe. Paul Stiles (KF7SOJ)每 ARRL Section Manager for MT and is willing to provide a general presentation and answer any questions on ARRL, their services, how ARRL is working for amateur radio, and how important Elmering is to the future of Amateur Radio. Todd has made contact with: Gene Shea (KB7Q) 每 Presentation on Moon Bounce and the equipment involved.? Gene is more than willing to do a presentation face to face but will probably need to be in the Fall when we can meet again. Bill Erhardt (K7MT) 每 Presentation on Satellites and Amateur Radio.? Bill has also agreed to do a presentation but again will probably need to do in the Fall so we can meet face to face.? Todd is going to follow up with Gene and Bill. Jeanette Polsak, who heads up the Blazing Saddles bike event in Livingston, has asked the Club to help with communications for their last ever official biking event, which will be held on July 17, 2021.? The Club has usually staffed the five aid stations,
and sometimes a ride-along position.? The aid stations are located on the Frontage Road at Bozeman Pass, Battle Ridge Campground, Wilsall Pavillion, Cutoff into Livingston, off of US 89, on the northeast side of Livingston, and the Sacajawea Park Pavillion
in Livingston.? I realize that July 17th is a ways off, but I would appreciate hearing from those that might be interested in helping out with this event.? Blazing Saddles helps to support Montana families where childhood cancer is involved.
