Each year the VAC hosts an art show. This year it is May 17 (senior night) and May 18 from 6-8. All are welcome! It is located on “Main Street” the main hallway in Einstein by the cafeteria. It is amazing! My first time
there I thought I was at an art museum! Hope to see the community there!

Thank you for sharing this!? I'd love to learn how the wider community can access the art show the teachers mentioned on May 17 and 18, was it?? Where is that held??
I know they mounted something this week but unfortunately was unable to find a time to enter the building and see the show.? My daughter said it was fantastic!
Thanks again for making sure to share the link to this.? We will appreciate being able to hightlight this at the upcoming County PTA meet up with the Board of Ed for the DCC community Wednesday, May 3 from 6 to 8 PM at Wheaton HS.
We expect to have performances from Einstein students in VAPA, including Titanes Salseros, and an instrumental music ensemble along with other student performers from all the DCC schools so please come out and see them!
We will love to feature student achievements as much as we can, and hope to have a "lightboard" set up to run this video, for example, images of artwork if we can get it, and perhaps you or your students have something more to contribute. We do have a beautiful photo of our championship women's basketball team!
WHEN:? Weds May 3 6- 8 PM
WHERE:? Wheaton HS cafeteria and gym
You can find additional information and RSVP for the event using the link below.?

The VAC art show is rapidly approaching! To make it a success, we need all hands on deck! We are charged with donations of concession items and running the concession stands on May 17 and 18th. May 17th is senior night so it would be wonderful to have all of the underclassmen families run the concession stands so the senior families can enjoy their special night. This fundraising will all go back to the VAC!
?This year, we decided to try something new. We are collecting money to purchase bouquets that you may give to your student! We also need other food and drink items. It would be wonderful if food items were pre-wrapped. The sign up genius has lots of details on it about drop off etc. You may drop items on the day of the event as well!?
Please let us know if you have any questions! A special thanks to Lauren, Jason, Geri and Karen for helping me pull this off!
And since the gifts should be something I can pick up in the day or two before the show, please get any contributions to me no later than May 15th. Please contribute whatever you feel you can. The size of the gift cards will be whatever is not
spent on bouquets.
Best,
Geri

Hi all,
Reaching out again to see if you'd be interested in contributing to year-end gifts for Ms. Harris and Ms. Harnish. I've heard from several of you already, so thanks for the interest!
I am planning to purchase a bouquet of flowers and a gift card for each of them. Anything you can contribute would go towards that and be greatly appreciated.
We have Zelle or Venmo:

Hi VAC parents. I don't know if in the past parents have gotten end of year gifts for the VAC teachers. It's been a strange few years with COVID. Our seniors had their first VAC art show last year, and our daughter, sadly, had to miss it because
she was home sick with COVID, believe it or not!
My husband and I went to the show both days, but spent a lot of time at the concessions table, so missed a lot of the formalities. With that, I don't have good historical knowledge of any traditions in this regard. But... I do wonder if parents, or perhaps
parents of seniors, would be interested in getting gifts of appreciation for Ms. Harris and Ms. Harnish to give to them at the art show. I was thinking perhaps something self care related.
If you're interested in contributing to these gifts and/or have ideas for what the gifts could be please reach out to me separately --

Hi Families,
Congratulations to our National Art Honor Society students for their work with the Youth Art for Healing organization! Our amazing students create artwork to be hung in local hospitals to help give hope in dark times. Many pieces are also given
to health workers for gratitude. Tonight was amazing because our own Mrs. Harnish was honored for her work with Youth Art for Healing since it’s inception 12 years ago! Two of our students were honored with scholarships: Isabel Acuna and Erin Malone! Congratulations
to everyone involved in this amazing program! Check out their site here?
