AEHS student received honorable mention in the Reflections Contest!

I am so very proud and pleased to announce that one of our AEHS students, Carly Allen-Myers, received honorable mention for this year's MCCPTA Reflections Program!
?
Every one of the pieces of student artwork submitted to the MCCPTA program are worthy of recognition, and, as always, the judges struggled to select the honorees.? This year, there were 194 pieces of artwork submitted by students at 22 MCPS schools. This program is really about the joy and challenges of creating, and then sharing what has been created.?Carly was one of only 12 students in MCPS to receive this honor.?
Her art piece?has been forwarded to Free State PTA for participation in the state competition.? Free State PTA looks at the artwork without knowing the county award level.
Winners/honorees of the Free State PTA Reflections program will be announced in mid-March.

The MCCPTA will be recognizing and celebrating student honorees in the MCCPTA Reflections Program at a special celebration?on?Thursday, May 18th.?All MCCPTA honorees and their families are invited to this special event at the AMP by Strathmore located at Pike & Rose.?
