Lyft already sends texts when a driver is either deaf or hard of hearing. I don¡¯t know why they wouldn¡¯t do this for language barriers.

I mainly use it for the term by turn directions, and to keep me informed of how many miles I am away from my current destination. I don't use it to alert me whenever I pass by a business.
