Where to purchase a enclosure for my DDS/VFO 49'er?
Who has found a good source for enclosures? Any solid color ones with cutout/s for the Display? I'd like to purchase an enclosure for my DDS/VFO 49'er similar to the one in the QST article, but a bit larger so I can add to it..? 1-2 window would be nice.. I'd also like to know where I have to go to get the PCB board standoff's.. Steve NS3L |
I bought the enclosure from Amazon, but they no longer carry it. My future projects will use on of these: These also have a hinged lid. I didn't use a cutout for the display, but kept it behind the cover. It protects the LCD surface.? Standoffs are expensive for what they are. I suggest a few extra nuts on the bolts, or buy a small length of plastic tubing and cut to length. Hobby stores usually carry it. Jack, W8TEE From: "hdskullfire2@...
