Opps!

Pressed the wrong button.?

I have not submitted this to QST yet, as we need to complete the board tests. We may experiment with the DDS chip which would extend the range to 6M, but we're not sure the added cost is worth it. Because of limiting the input control to a single encoder and an on/off switch, it's pretty easy to use, but the software been a bitch-kitty. Still, we plan on a similar article and downloads for a manual and the software. If QST doesn't take it, I feel pretty confident we can get it published somewhere.

BTW, to all of you who voted for our article, we all really appreciate it and extend our sincere thank you.

?
This has been an enjoyable experience for me and I've had a bunch of people write and say how much they enjoyed the article and building the rig. I love tinkering, especially when I can combine ham radio with software. We just got the Beta boards in for the antenna analyzer (AA). (You can see two pictures on the group site.) If QST agrees, it will be a similar article, but will use a Mega 2560 board...there's just too much software. The AA:

covers 10KHz to 30MHz
is preset with default bands edges for all bands 160-10M
does minimum plots for each scan (usually for a specified band)
complete table for each scan
large 3.5" full (262,000) color display
battery or wall wart power
store up to 9000 scans
USB download of scan data in CSV (i.e. Excel) format
Open Source Arduino code

Again, we hope to keep the cost under $50, but the Mega and the larger display may push it to $60.

Thanks Jack, just saw this and figured it myself as well. ?Again thanks for the GREAT contribution to Ham Radio. ?I and so many others are gonna have a great time building qrp rigs like this, and I will definitely build more than one ? lol

Please let us know.? I would love to make another antenna analyzer

I will post a notice to this group.
