Re: T41-EP Modifying V10/11 systems to run V12 software
That a lot of work and its gonna be hard to get the V011 QSE/QSD to work at and above 10M just because of the physical layout. It will be far smarter to just add the new V012 RF board and leave the

Re: T41-EP Modifying V10/11 systems to run V12 software
Thanks Bill I'd be surprised if a lot of folk don't want to modify what they've already built rather than binning most of it, especially as the existing 10/11 boards won't work on 10m. Certainly if

Re: T41-EP Modifying V10/11 systems to run V12 software
I suppose you COULD do that. You need to bypass the DIV by 4¡¯s is all. There are some additional subtle things (like CW generation) but a little surgery will, indeed, make it work at least on SSB.

T41-EP Modifying V10/11 systems to run V12 software
Is there any basic reason why V10 and V11 board systems can¡¯t be modified to run the V12 software? There are obvious issues. Clk0 and clk1 from the Si5351 have to be run to QSD and QSE Clk2 has to

Al I'm getting quite confused with the? accolades you are awarding to the new V12 boards.? They seems to be amazing. Where can I see the schematics for all the V12 boards?? It's probably staring me

Woops. Forgot some text - It was recommended to change them to 0 ohms, I did so. So easy peasy to try 3K3. Larry KB3CUF

I did this as recommended at the time- I intend to reverse this and use 3K3 to see if it helps.

Re: T41 QSE carrier balance
*** Won't work. In V12, they're not using the D flipflops. They're using one si5351a clock for each phase. - Jerry

Re: T41 QSE carrier balance
* I *n V12 we have managed to reduce the carrier amplitude on SSB to almost -47dB below a sine signal at full amplitude. This was accomplished using 3.3K ohm series resistors in the IQ CLK0 and CLK1
