Re: RIT Offset Question
Sorry for the delay response...busy stomping out fires here. Can you post the code you used for the offset? Jack, W8TEE To: SoftwareControlledHamRadio@... Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Re: RIT Offset Question
I am a little confused my this discussion. I implemented a receive offset function which allows the receive frequency to be offset by a programmed amount (default 600 Hz) from the transmit frequency.

Re: RIT Offset Question
Wouldn't RIT just be a code change when your LO is completely software controlled? What does the hardware pictured do? -Mark

Re: CW Reader
Thanks for the heads up! I ordered your book at the same time I ordered all of the kits/parts. It should arrive this week! I may just go ahead and order a Teensy as I would like to have that feature

Re: CW Reader
My Arduino Projects for Amateur Radio?book has a reader circuit and there is enough flash memory for it in the Forty-9er. However, it is the SRAM that is the issue, as that's where the data and stack

Re: RIT Offset Question
The picture titled Board011 is of a Muppet board that I built. It has the BCI filter on the top, a 24W dummy load on the left, and the RIT hardware on the right. That circuit was from someone who

CW Reader
I conducted a search but was not successful in locating any topics on incorporating a CW Reader. I know others have done it with the Rebel/Patriot transceivers. Just thought it would be a nice touch

Re: RIT Offset Question
Closest I could find was message 348..... "Jack had provisions for RIT but it is not implemented. I had to eliminate the delay loop associated with it to get things going. " But I'll keep looking.

Re: RIT Offset Question
I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I do seem to remember someone who has already added an RIT to it. Take a look back through the posts. Jack, W8TEE To: SoftwareControlledHamRadio@...

Has anyone incorporated a RIT on the Forty-9er? If not, wonder if this will work, or could be made to work? http://www.hamanuals.com/MMans/RIT%20for%20SW+%20Transceivers.pdf
