Hi everyone,
I am working on a stand-alone website devoted to the T41. It will go into the history , features, some technical stuff on DSP and SDR as well as a page(s) dedicated to users' builds. If you would like you rig to be featured on the site, send me a private message along with a photo and how you would like it to be described.

The site is currently under construction, but I am shooting for a general publishing time of a couple or few weeks.

Re: Help: Audio is pumping on bands 17 and 15.

I've not tried testing this particular configuration, so I'm speculating here. If you don't have any receive circuitry populated then the only signal present to be digitized is the self-induced noise on the main board, which comes primarily from the display. Does the noise get lower if you move your main board further away from the display?

I don't think this is necessarily a problem, it just reflects an incomplete radio build.

Only the main-board and the RF-board (equipped with a TX only) are connected.

Re: Test Equipment

John - A signal generator has many uses.? I use one often.? But if you're goal is just finishing the T41, I would focus on the , mainly the Transmit IQ Calibration where some external equipment is needed.

Thanks Terrance. When you say (see below) that the two-tone signals are created internally now with the V66-9 cal routine, does that mean I don't need the audio generator?
V66-9 can already create the two-tone signals internally from the two-tone calibration routine.?

I still have a lot to learn with this little thing!

I've just started playing with two-tone signals with the T41.? V66-9 can already create the two-tone signals internally from the two-tone calibration routine.? I want to see if I can create some useful screens using the receiver side (with the CAL relay on).? The receiver would need to be calibrated first for it to be of much use on the transmission side.? Probably a crazy idea, but things like that interest me.
