Re: Schematic of Front Panel_Matrix Ver V012

This is my original FrontPanel that has the encoders integrated rather than separate.

Re: XMIT Calibration

V049 should work.? V049.1 has only minor changes to the calibration graphics.
In all reported problem cases, the issues were resolved by fixing hardware defects.? I don't recall any unresolved calibration problems reported here.

Re: V012 Proto Board Sets

I would be interested.? ?I have my own set of Version 10 boards that I would build up to go along with this version 12.? Could start immediately as I have the components but have been holding off for the V12 to be released.

Regards,

Hank - WZ3HMT

Re: V012 Proto Board Sets

I¡¯d be interested as well if any are available, I will pay for the postage happily, I order most of the components yesterday for the v12 boards along with toroid kit from kits and parts. Also ordered the parts for your 20w PA.

If not possible no worries at all. Thanks!

T41 SDT RX sucsess and NBFM inquiry

Very pleased with receiver performance now I have got AGC working and minor niggles attended to. With my AD831 front end and low noise amp and pre-selector from? SV1AFN performance is on par with my Watkins ? Johnson 8711. As receiver noise level is so low (200nV for 10dB SNR) would make an ideal back end for VHF / UHF down converter, hence my post has anyone incorporated a NBFM de-modulator?
Possibly the easiest route is by adjusting the pll loop time constants in the SAM de-modulator and low pass that to produce recovered audio, naturally the signal would require liming prior to demodulating.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Potential macro gotchas in SDT.h #programming

Ian:

I wasn't too worried about the macro expansion as I knew it would be additive at most.

There is a github page, but it's private to the Beta only right now until the final version of the software is released.

should be
#define INCREMENT_X? ? ? ? ? ?(WATERFALL_RIGHT_X + 25)

Without parentheses around the sum, if someone tries multiplying or dividing, by anything other than unity, an erroneous result will ensue (divide by zero notwithstanding).? Attached is a diff file with the corrections to the other macros, which are not that many.? Hopefully, these changes won't break anything ;)

Also, is there a better way to submit changes, like a github project page, to make submitting and merging changes easier?
