T41 - First Steps - Breadboard Teensy 4.1 and display - load and test software
Hi Greg, Has anyone documented, that you know of, how to breadboard up the Teensy and the 5" display and load and test the software? If someone could help in this area I would greatly appreciate it :)

Re: T41 V010 vs V011
Basically, T41 V12 hardware replaces 4 V11 boards with two V12 boards. * The PS is eliminated in favor of placing the DC voltage regulators on the new Main and RF boards. * The Receive and Exciter

Re: V010 vs V011
Once the boards are finalized and I can get the Gerbers I will start getting boards made for UK and Europe. I am in Dubrovnik for the next few days but once I have them I can get started straight

Re: V010 vs V011
Just to add in:? Al is proofing what I wrote for 4SQRP as the assembly manual. I hope to send it to them for their review as quickly after I get it back from Al. I urge anyone contemplating buying

Re: V010 vs V011
I started sending final production schematics to Al as of last night. It wont be long. A few things left to resolve on the RF board and we can go into production. Dr. William J. Schmidt - K9HZ J68HZ

Re: V010 vs V011
I can give you some ideas. I know several people worked on the project is small steps as I did. First, buy the Teensy 4.1 and the display.? Using a breadboard and a power supply, you can connect the

Re: Examination of an MFJ Magnetic Loop Antenna
Colin: We used a similar approach in the Double-Double loop controller, although we used the EEPROM to record old capacitor settings vs frequency for faster tuning. We ran it at Field Day with a 100W

Re: Examination of an MFJ Magnetic Loop Antenna
I've just about finished my remote control for the MFJ. I replaced the motor with a stepper and use a pair of HC-12 433Mhz SI4463 Wireless Serial Port Modules. Stepper is connected to an Arduino mega

Re: T41-EP Receiver Help
Hi Rocco- Without an oscilloscope to look at the waveforms, it's going to be difficult to troubleshoot.? The only thing I can think of is using a receiver.? Do you have a working HF receiver? The LO

V010 vs V011
I can't wait longer to start building the T41 project and as V012 needs time to be released, I decide to start on the previous version. In File I find the files of V010 (pcb, schematics, gerber) but

Re: T41-EP Receiver Help
Hi Greg, I've been ill for the last four months but now I'm finally back working on my project. I've started checking components and connections to see if I've missed anything. So far no luck but I

4SQRP Kit Build Completed
All: I've been building and writing the assembly manual for the T41-EP kit from 4 States QRP (4SQRP.com) and I made my first contact a couple of days ago. As you can see, the code compiled fine with

Re: T41 TSSOP rewiring problem
I have an Andrew 6 ft solid microwave dish with the shepherds crook feed. Looks like it would work for 10 GHz. And probably pretty accurate shape for lower frequencies. Even harder to mount.

Re: RX/TX
Ok, solved... . I placed a 10K resistor in the base of Q101 and load of PIN is acceptable. Switching does work now! Great. Thanks everybody for ideas and info. Great project! Kind regards Luc ON4ALV

Re: T41 TSSOP rewiring problem
It is a Cassegrain type. Not difficult to make work. As it is, it has about 70 dB gain at 5GHz¡ less below that. It does work to 432. Dr. William J. Schmidt - K9HZ J68HZ 8P6HK ZF2HZ PJ4/K9HZ

Re: T41 TSSOP rewiring problem
Thats a cassegrain I think, super directional- would be difficult for EME. A guy in AK has one on a short tower. https://kl6m.com/23cm/23CM-SEPTUM-FEED.pdf

All, I am a bit closer to the clue of my problem (I think...). It has nothing to do with the audio board or PIN22 on itself. But I found out that; the QSE board is loading the PIN22 low (to about

Re: T41 TSSOP rewiring problem
Yikes. I have a BUD 10 ft mesh in pieces at the moment. The Alt-Az conversion from polar has held me up. I got everything else working including a head end. Too many projects in the queue.
