Re: Antenna Analyzer
No bother. I know the PCB will be sold for sure. However, I really don't have anything to do with that, as Farrukh lays out the board and has it produced. I have asked him to redo the AA board to

Sorry to have bothered you, one last question and I'll just drop it. Will there be a kit or just a bare PCB someday? Roy WA0YMH On Jan 30, 2017 1:26 PM, "Jack Purdum jjpurdum@...

Re: Antenna Analyzer
Why not? If I'm writing an article and submit it to QST, I want all of that in place first. Also, this was a build for my club, hence the assembly manual. We do have a PCB, but I'm having the PCB

Jack, I'm confused, there's a user's manual and construction manual that you can download but no kit? Roy WA0YMH On Jan 30, 2017 11:47 AM, "Jack Purdum jjpurdum@... [SoftwareControlledHamRadio]"

Re: Antenna Analyzer
That will be released along with the article that is to appear in QST. No date set yet. Farrukh will handle the board sales. This board is a little larger and I believe he's going to sell it for $10.

dropping Forty-9er input voltage (was Re: QRPkits DC40?)
There is a simple trick to drop the voltage going into the Forty-9er to below 12v. You can put a 1N5817 diode in series with the positive power lead to the Forty-9er. This will give a voltage drop of

I got really excited when I saw that page! Is that antenna analyzer kit still available? I did a quick Google search and didn't find anything. Roy WA0YMH On Jan 30, 2017 8:51 AM, "Jack Purdum

Finally got my rig into a case
Group, I finally have gotten my radio into a case. I added a hi-per-mite cw filter. I can turn the cw filter on and off with my menu system. That hi-per-mite is a very nice filter. I'm amazed at how

Re: QRPkits DC40?
I agree with Marty. If you run at over 12V, it's a good idea to put a heat sink on the final. Jack, W8TEE To: SoftwareControlledHamRadio@... Sent: Saturday, January 28, 2017 5:56 PM
